Following his rise to international fame at the FIFA World Cup, fueled by his impressive on-field performance and charismatic presence, Manchester City and Norway star Erling Haaland has embraced his post-tournament vacation in sunny Europe, while continually feeding the social media landscape with fresh content.
In a classic footballer summer tradition, Haaland celebrated his 26th birthday in St. Tropez on the French Riviera, sporting a Viking-horned helmet as he joined DJ &ME, a member of the Berlin-based Keinemusik collective, in the DJ booth.
Shortly after, Haaland was in attendance at the glamorous wedding of his Manchester City teammate Gianluigi Donnarumma and his childhood sweetheart, Alessia Elefante, held at the Chiesa Madre di San Giorgio Martire in Italy. There, he energized the guests by leading them in the viral Viking Row.
After Norway’s quarterfinal exit against England, Haaland, along with other Manchester City players, has been granted an extended leave before returning for preseason training.
Notably absent from the 28-player squad announced for the club’s Asian tour, which includes matches against Internazionale, a K-League All Stars team, and Atlético Madrid across Hong Kong and South Korea, is the striker. This tour marks Enzo Maresca’s first games in charge following his appointment to succeed Pep Guardiola.
