At last, the international break is behind us. With the November hiatus now concluded, MLS can jump back into action, re-entering a postseason of thrilling matches just in the nick of time.
For the teams in the playoffs, the wait has been even longer. FC Cincinnati, Inter Miami CF, the Philadelphia Union, San Diego FC, and the Vancouver Whitecaps have had 15 days off; Minnesota United FC and New York City FC have been idle for 16 days; and LAFC has not participated in a competitive match for 20 days.
To help us remember the journey of these eight teams to the conference semifinals, ESPN has enlisted Lizzy Becherano and Jon Arnold, along with the rest of our U.S. soccer team, to offer predictions on who they believe will advance to the final four.
Eastern Conference
2. FC Cincinnati vs. 3. Inter Miami

X-factor: Tai Baribo has emerged as a crucial contributor this season, scoring 16 goals and providing three assists, making him indispensable for the Union.
Tactical Consideration: New York City FC will face an uphill battle without key player Alonso Martínez due to injury, forcing the team to adapt their strategies significantly.
