England’s meeting with Mexico is one of four World Cup last‑16 ties being shown live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, with all eight matches covered across BBC Sport.

The Three Lions booked the clash with the co-hosts by beating DR Congo 2-1 in the last 32. The game will be played at the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City on Monday 6 July at 01:00 BST.

The BBC will also broadcast France vs Paraguay on Saturday at 22:00, with Paraguay aiming for another upset after eliminating Germany on penalties. European champions Spain face Portugal in Dallas on Monday 6 July at 20:00, also on BBC One and iPlayer. Co-hosts United States play Belgium on Tuesday 7 July at 01:00 as Mauricio Pochettino’s side look to extend a historic run.

The other four last‑16 fixtures will air on ITV.
