Miami Secures Argentine…

Inter Miami has officially announced the signing of defender Facundo Mura as a free agent, with a contract extending until June 2029.

The right-back will join the roster ahead of the 2026 season, pending the approval of his P-1 Visa and International Transfer Certificate (ITC).

Messi and Miami set for South American preseason tour

The 26-year-old Mura arrives at the club following a notable tenure with Racing Club in Argentina, where he previously played for Estudiantes de La Plata and Club Atlético Colón. He has netted 13 goals and provided 20 assists in 200 appearances across all competitions.

On the international stage, Mura has represented Argentina at youth levels, being part of the squad that won the 2020 CONMEBOL South American U20 Championship and participating in the 2019 FIFA U20 World Cup in Poland.

Mura is the second defensive addition to Inter Miami this offseason, following left-back Sergio Reguilón, who signed a two-year contract through December 2027.

The roster is set to undergo further changes as the transfer window remains open in anticipation of the 2026 season kickoff on February 21 against LAFC.

After claiming the MLS Cup on December 6, Inter Miami has also confirmed the return of veteran striker Luis Suárez, who has extended his contract through the end of the 2026 season.
