Inter Miami CF has officially signed Canada goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair through the end of the 2026 Major League Soccer season, with an option to extend for the spring of 2027.
St. Clair joins the team after a successful stint with Minnesota United FC, where he kept 37 clean sheets in 174 MLS matches, earning the 2025 Goalkeeper of the Year title and All-Star selections in both 2022 and 2025.
St. Clair is the latest addition to Miami’s roster, joining defenders Facundo Mura and Sergio Reguilón as the team prepares for the 2026 season. ESPN sources indicate that further adjustments to the roster will occur during the transfer window.
According to insiders, Inter Miami has secured a loan agreement to bring in Palmeiras’ defender Micael for the 2026 season. Micael has prior MLS experience, having played for Houston Dynamo FC from 2022 to 2024 before transferring to the Brazilian club.
Additionally, it has been confirmed that Inter Miami players Tadeo Allende and Rocco Rios Novos will return for the new season after their loan spells ended. Following the conclusion of the 2025 season, Miami has been in negotiations with both players to secure their return.
After clinching the MLS Cup on December 6, the team also announced that veteran striker Luis Suárez will be returning, having extended his contract through the end of the 2026 season.
Inter Miami is set to start the 2026 season at home on February 21 against LAFC.
