Man United Fan Group…

A fan group for Manchester United has labeled the club “a laughing stock” while unveiling new plans to protest against the club’s management.

The 1958 group has previously orchestrated demonstrations targeting the club’s leadership, particularly the Glazer family’s majority ownership.

They have criticized United’s leadership, including minority owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, for “turning the club into a circus” and announced intentions to protest before the Premier League match against Fulham on February 1.

Frustration toward the British billionaire Ratcliffe has intensified since he took control in February 2024.

During a recent away match at Turf Moor, United supporters exhibited an anti-Ratcliffe banner after the team’s 2-2 draw with Burnley, the first game post the sacking of head coach Ruben Amorim.

“After stumbling from one disaster to another, Ratcliffe seems like an incompetent clown making the club into a circus,” stated the 1958 group.

“Instead of being the best in class, we’ve become a laughing stock.”

“It has been an extraordinary and concerning few days for Manchester United. On the field, we are witnessing mediocre performances from a team lacking identity, direction, and ambition. The situation off the pitch is even more chaotic.”

United continues its search for an interim manager to succeed Amorim, with former players like Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Michael Carrick, and Ruud van Nistelrooy under consideration.

Current caretaker Darren Fletcher, who managed the team against Burnley, will again lead when Brighton visits Old Trafford for the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday.
