Real Oviedo captain Santi Cazorla has voiced his frustration with LaLiga following the last-minute postponement of his team’s match against Rayo Vallecano on Saturday, which was announced just hours before kickoff.
The postponement was attributed to safety concerns regarding the pitch at Vallecas Stadium.
Real Oviedo expressed disappointment with the short notice, as players and fans were already in Madrid at that time.
The club indicated it might consider taking legal action over the matter.

Cazorla, a former Arsenal midfielder, took to X to express his discontent, stating: “The truth is that LaLiga is light years behind the Premier League in every aspect.”
At 41 years old, Cazorla enjoyed six successful years at Arsenal, winning two FA Cups with the team.
In August 2023, he returned to his boyhood club Oviedo, helping the team earn promotion to LaLiga last season.
Currently, Oviedo finds themselves at the bottom of the league standings, with a record of three wins, seven draws, and twelve losses from 22 matches.
