Santos recently posted a touching photo of Lionel Messi alongside his two sons, each proudly wearing the legendary Brazilian club’s iconic No. 10 jersey, currently donned by Neymar.
The jerseys were a thoughtful gift from Neymar to his former teammates at Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.
This iconic No. 10 jersey is famously associated with the legendary Pele, who wore it during his time at Santos.
Santos expressed: “From Neymar Jr. to Lionel Messi. From the Prince to the Genius. The Sacred Jersey, of immeasurable value, with the number immortalized by the King. 10 for Neymar. 10 for Messi. 10 for Pele. An infinite legacy in the history of football.”
“Greetings from Vila Belmiro, Lionel Messi!”
Neymar, who signed the jerseys for Thiago and Mateo Messi with a personal message, also shared the touching photograph on his Instagram.

As Neymar turns 34, time is ticking on his World Cup dream
At 38 years old, Messi continues to enjoy a strong friendship with Neymar, who is now 34, stemming from their time together over four seasons at Barcelona and two years at PSG.
Both players departed PSG in 2023, with the Argentine captain moving to MLS club Inter Miami, while Neymar joined Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal.
Neymar returned to Santos 13 months ago and is eager to regain his peak form in anticipation of representing Brazil at the upcoming World Cup.
