Piotr Zielinski scored a dramatic last-minute goal, propelling Inter Milan to an eight-point lead at the top of the Serie A standings as they overcame a 10-man Juventus.
The midfielder secured a vital 3-2 victory in the intense Derby d’Italia at San Siro, just as it seemed Juve, who lost defender Pierre Kalulu to a red card three minutes before halftime, had earned a point.
Andrea Cambiaso scored for both teams, with Francesco Pio Esposito having restored Inter’s lead before Manuel Locatelli equalized for Juventus. Nevertheless, Cristian Chivu’s team secured a sixth consecutive league victory.

Inter initially took the lead in the 17th minute when Cambiaso inadvertently scored an own goal, but he made up for it just nine minutes later.
Weston McKennie created space on the right and delivered a cross that Cambiaso converted at the far post while Luis Henrique failed to defend, equalizing against keeper Yann Sommer.
However, Juventus’s situation worsened just three minutes before the halftime whistle when Kalulu, who had already been booked for a challenge on Nicolò Barella, fouled Alessandro Bastoni and received a second yellow card.
Sommer denied Cambiaso a potential hat trick five minutes after the break and later saved shots from Fabio Miretti and McKennie as the 10-man side pushed for a comeback, prompting Inter to respond.
Esposito put the home team back in front with 14 minutes remaining, but after Juve’s captain Locatelli equalized with just seven minutes left, Zielinski struck the decisive blow in stoppage time.
