Swansea investor Snoop Dogg has invited fans to greet him with towel twirls during his inaugural visit to the club.
The American rapper, a minority owner of the Sky Bet Championship side alongside TV personality Martha Stewart and Croatian international Luka Modric, will make his debut appearance at Swansea’s stadium for the match against Preston on Tuesday evening.
Snoop has requested that the sold-out crowd be in their seats ahead of kickoff, ready to twirl complimentary towels—a tradition often seen in American sports.
A message on Swansea’s official X account stated: “Snoop Dogg is asking the Jack Army to join him in a pre-match towel twirl this evening.”
“Fans are encouraged to take their seats 20 minutes before kickoff and twirl the towels as Snoop enters the pitch.”
The announcement was paired with a brief video of the 54-year-old demonstrating his desired twirling style.
Snoop shared his excitement about the visit on the club’s website: “I know this has been a long time coming, but I can’t wait to finally visit Swansea for the first time.
“From the moment we discussed my ownership, I’ve looked forward to experiencing the atmosphere at Swansea.com Stadium. I’ve heard amazing things, especially about the vibe when playing under the lights.
