Inter Miami has received an invitation to celebrate their 2025 Major League Soccer Cup victory at the White House, as confirmed by a club source to ESPN.
The team plans to attend the reception next week during their trip to Washington, where they will face D.C. United; however, specific arrangements are still being finalized.
This visit would continue the tradition in American sports of honoring a league championship with a White House gathering.
D.C. United was the first MLS team to visit the White House in 1998 following their Cup win, and the LA Galaxy made multiple visits after their successes in 2011, 2012, and 2014.
David Beckham, co-owner of Inter Miami, had previously visited the White House in 2012 with the Galaxy to celebrate their league triumph.

The Herons clinched the 2025 MLS Cup on December 6, overcoming the Vancouver Whitecaps with a 3-1 victory at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, marking the franchise’s first league championship.
Although the team had previously won the Supporters’ Shield and the Leagues Cup, the MLS Cup was an elusive goal until they achieved it last season.
