UEFA Accuses Chelseas…

Chelsea winger Pedro Neto has been charged by UEFA for pushing a ball boy during Chelsea’s loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.

UEFA classified the incident as “unsporting behavior,” and Neto could face a one-match suspension, with a disciplinary ruling to be announced shortly.

Chelsea is currently down 5-2 after the first leg of the round of 16, and the second leg will take place on Tuesday in London.

The incident occurred as Neto shoved the boy in the chest for seemingly holding onto the ball rather than returning it near the end of the match when Chelsea was trailing 4-2.

Neto later expressed remorse, apologizing to the boy and offering him his game jersey.

“In the heat of the moment, we were behind, and I wanted the ball quickly,” Neto explained to TNT Sports. “I gave him a little push. I realized I hurt him, and I sincerely apologize as that’s not who I am.”
