Rose Set to Replace Iraola…

Bournemouth has officially announced the appointment of Marco Rose as the new manager, taking over from Andoni Iraola after the current season ends.

Last week, Iraola revealed his intention to depart the club this summer, prompting Bournemouth to swiftly secure Rose as his successor on a three-year contract.

As reported by ESPN, Rose was the club’s top choice, and he has now been appointed after finalizing personal terms.

Having left RB Leipzig last year, Rose is available and brings experience from his time as head coach at Borussia Mönchengladbach and Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga.

Sources informed ESPN that Kieran McKenna, manager of Ipswich Town, was also considered for the role, but the Bournemouth leadership decided on Rose.

Reasons why Iraola will be a sought-after candidate in this summer’s managerial shuffle

Earlier in his managerial career, Rose also led Lokomotive Leipzig in Germany and RB Salzburg in Austria.
