According to reports, a visibly upset Neymar, 34, tripped Robinho Jr. and the pair engaged in a heated exchange before being separated by teammates. Robinho Jr. was left very upset by the altercation.

Following the incident, Neymar reportedly reached out to Robinho Jr. to apologize, and he also sent messages to the young player’s family expressing his regret over the situation.
