Stan and Josh Kroenke, co-owners of Arsenal, emphasized that “there will be no standing still at the conclusion of the season” as the club approaches a potential Premier League and Champions League double.

On Monday night, Arsenal secured a 1-0 victory over Burnley in their penultimate league match, bringing them closer to what could be their first league title in 22 years.

The Gunners now hold a five-point lead at the top of the table and a win against Crystal Palace in the final match of the season on May 24 will secure their position, rendering second-place Manchester City unable to catch them.

Following the league finale, Arsenal will compete against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final on May 30, aiming to clinch the title for the first time in their history.

Prior to their crucial match at the Emirates Stadium on Monday, the Kroenkes released a statement saying, “We will put forth every effort to secure major trophies, and you can be assured that everyone at the club will maintain their hard work to make the upcoming weeks memorable.

“The bond we share with our supporters fills us with immense pride.

“Together, we are building something truly special, and regardless of where this month of May leads us, we will not be standing still once the season concludes.

“This season, we have achieved record wins — currently sitting at 43, surpassing the 41 victories from our double-winning season in 1970-71.

“We discussed reaching new heights during our preseason tour in Singapore and Hong Kong, and these victories reflect the journey we’re undertaking to achieve that.

“We have made significant progress, and we all aspire to take the final steps necessary to reach the pinnacle of success.

“We will do it as a united front.”
