Arteta biggest ever…

Mikel Arteta declared that he will be the “biggest fan ever” of Bournemouth on Tuesday, as his Arsenal team stands on the verge of claiming their first Premier League title in over 20 years.

Following Arsenal’s narrow 1-0 victory over Burnley on Monday, Manchester City must win against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium to keep the title race alive until the end.

When asked if he would be cheering for Bournemouth for the next 24 hours, Arteta responded: “The biggest ever.”

“I believe we are all cheering for Bournemouth because we understand how much this means.”

With Kai Havertz‘s first-half goal against Burnley, Arsenal is close to securing their first title since 2004.

This latest game was another tense affair, following the recent 1-0 win over West Ham. Arteta confessed that he might struggle to watch City’s match against Bournemouth, which could be pivotal.

“I thought my hair would never thin out, but this job is really testing that,” he shared.

“I’m not sure how long I can bear watching it, but I’ll definitely be in front of the TV. I had planned to watch it with my family, but I may not last that long.”

No matter the outcome of Manchester City’s game with Bournemouth, if Arsenal secures a victory against Crystal Palace in the final match, they will be crowned Premier League champions for the first time in 22 years.
