Barcelona Unveils Striped…

LaLiga champions Barcelona have unveiled their new kit, aiming to break a decade-long curse and reclaim the UEFA Champions League.

While the FIFA World Cup is still underway, Barça is already setting their sights on the 2026-27 season with the launch of their latest home jersey at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona (MACBA) on Tuesday.

This season’s shirt features the club’s classic blaugrana (blue and garnet red) vertical stripes, with a fresh twist.

According to the club, the stripes have been “reimagined through a dynamic colour gradient that adds movement and depth while remaining true to the club’s identity.”

This innovative design incorporates three varying gradients of color within the garnet stripes, alongside similar variations on the blue sections of the jersey.

The kit’s design reflects the renovations made to the Camp Nou, where Barça returned last season after more than two years of playing at the Olympic Stadium.

With a revamped stadium and a fresh new kit, Hansi Flick’s young team aims to elevate their game beyond the previous seasons under the German coach, as Barça seeks their sixth Champions League title—a trophy they’ve been chasing since 2015 after facing semifinal and quarterfinal exits.

Meanwhile, the Barcelona women’s team looks to build on their successes in the new kit after a transformative summer. Following their fourth Champions League victory in six years this past May, they will face new challenges after the departures of key players such as Alexia Putellas, Mapi León, Ona Batlle, and Salma Paralluelo.
