Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky has agreed an improved deal with the Premier League club.

The 23-year-old endured a turbulent first full campaign, famously taken off after just 17 minutes of the Champions League last‑16 tie at Atletico Madrid having conceded three early goals. Following Roberto De Zerbi’s appointment, however, Kinsky started the final seven league matches and helped Spurs secure their top-flight status.

“It’s been quite a journey to get here and a great story already. I’m excited about what’s ahead in the coming months and years,” Kinsky said.

Spurs signed the Czech keeper from Slavia Prague for around £12.5m in January 2025 on a contract initially running to 2031. In the 5-2 defeat at Atletico in March, he made two early mistakes and was replaced by Guglielmo Vicario by interim boss Igor Tudor, a decision widely criticised at the time.

Kinsky could begin the new season as first choice, with Vicario linked with a move back to Italy and Inter Milan.

“Toni was outstanding in the final seven games and a key part of what we achieved,” said De Zerbi. “He’s earned this new contract with his performances, professionalism and desire to improve. We believe he can become one of the best goalkeepers in Europe.”

Tottenham have not disclosed the length or terms of Kinsky’s new agreement.
