Crystal Palace have signed Celta Vigo defender Oscar Mingueza on a free transfer, pending international clearance.
The 27-year-old Spaniard has agreed a four-year deal and becomes new head coach Pierre Sage’s first signing of the summer.
A graduate of Barcelona’s La Masia academy, Mingueza made 66 first-team appearances for the club after debuting in 2020.
He moved to Celta Vigo in 2022, where he recorded seven goals and 15 assists in 147 games.
Mingueza said it is an honour to join Palace and that he is really excited to be at Selhurst Park.
Capped four times by Spain, he was not selected in Luis de la Fuente’s 26-man squad for this summer’s World Cup.
