Kane Rejects England…

Captain Harry Kane has rejected claims of any discord within the England team, emphasizing that there is “complete togetherness” as they prepare for the World Cup semifinal against Argentina.

England secured their place in the semifinals with a hard-fought 2-1 win in extra time over Norway, battling through the intense Miami heat. Following the match, Jude Bellingham responded to Thomas Tuchel’s criticism of the team’s performance.

The Real Madrid forward scored both goals to propel his team forward and challenged Tuchel’s remarks by implying that “he doesn’t know what it’s like to play in those conditions.”

However, Kane dismissed the notion of rifts within the squad when speaking to BBC Sport: “When you’ve just played such a demanding game, being asked a question five minutes after full-time without knowing what the manager has said, what do you expect Jude to respond with?”

“We had just been through a tough battle. It’s easy to create division, which seems to be a prevailing attitude in England during major tournaments. But it’s the opposite for us. Our group has succeeded due to our unity—not just among the players, but with the coaching staff as well. Sometimes, things are exaggerated.”

Kane acknowledged Tuchel’s straightforward approach as a hallmark of his status as an elite manager while noting the coach has been supportive of the team. “Players on the pitch have the best sense of when they’re performing well or not, which is just part of the game,” he added.

“We know what the boss meant. He’s been very complimentary about the group’s mentality, which is often the toughest aspect, and ours has been at an exceptionally high level for quite some time.”

“He is very open and sincere, and that resonates with people. When he speaks, it feels genuine, which fosters trust in his message and methods. He’s considered one of the finest managers in the world for good reason. Over the past two years, we’ve grown to understand him and what motivates him.”
