Garnacho Set for Loan Move…

Alejandro Garnacho is nearing a loan transfer to Aston Villa from Chelsea, according to sources from ESPN.

Aston Villa has reached an agreement that includes an obligation to make the move permanent, contingent on the number of matches Garnacho plays for the club.

This would mark Garnacho’s third Premier League team in as many years, following his transfer to Chelsea from Manchester United last summer.

The Argentina international appeared 43 times for Chelsea last season across all competitions, scoring only eight goals, which ultimately led to his exclusion from Argentina’s World Cup squad.

Unai Emery’s side has had a hectic transfer window recently. Both Morgan Rogers and Youri Tielemans have moved to Chelsea and Manchester United, respectively, while Switzerland international Johan Manzambi has joined from Freiburg.

According to ESPN, Aston Villa received £117 million ($157.28m) for Rogers, making him the most expensive British player in history.
