Arsenal complete £34m…

Arsenal have completed the £34m signing of Greece forward Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge. The 24-year-old has agreed what the Premier League champions describe as a long-term deal.

Tzolis produced 43 goals and 45 assists in 108 appearances for Brugge and arrives after Belgian forward Leandro Trossard left for Besiktas earlier this month.

Sporting director Andrea Berta praised Tzolis’s flexibility across the attack, noting his two-footed finishing, sharp work in tight spaces and high technical level. He said Tzolis’s output over the past three seasons, along with his energy, enthusiasm and strong mentality, will lift the squad.

A PAOK academy product, Tzolis played 30 times for Norwich City between 2021 and 2024, scoring three goals, and had loan spells at Twente and Fortuna Düsseldorf before joining Brugge. He made his Premier League debut for Norwich in a 1-0 defeat at Arsenal in September 2021.

Tzolis said he had a positive discussion with manager Mikel Arteta about the club, his role and the team’s plans. He described himself as a direct winger who aims to score or create chances, and someone who also works hard defensively.
