Chelsea are poised to sign attacking midfielder Giulia Dragoni from Barcelona.
The 19-year-old has spent the past two seasons on loan at Roma, with Chelsea monitoring her development for several years.
Dragoni already has 24 Italy caps after debuting at 16 and has featured in the Women’s Champions League with Roma.
She moved to Barcelona in 2023 after progressing through Inter Milan’s youth system.
Chelsea are drawn to her versatility, with the ability to play across the front line and in midfield.
She is set to become their fourth summer addition as they look to reclaim the Women’s Super League title following Manchester City’s triumph last season.
