Premier League club Crystal Palace is in advanced negotiations to sign 19-year-old wing-back Zavier Gozo from Real Salt Lake, according to a source who spoke with ESPN.

The transfer, which is expected to cost around $15 million, is likely to be completed within the next 24 to 48 hours. Gozo is scheduled to travel to London on Friday once both teams finalize their agreement.

Gozo, who is part of the U.S. youth national team, is regarded as one of the top prospects from the MLS academy scene. He has made 16 regular-season appearances for RSL this season, scoring six goals and providing five assists. Additionally, he earned minutes in the MLS All-Star Game in July.

At Crystal Palace, he will be under the guidance of new manager Pierre Sage, who took the helm in June after replacing Oliver Glasner. Glasner led the team to last season’s UEFA Conference League title before moving to Nottingham Forest.

If the transfer goes through, Gozo will join USMNT defender Chris Richards as the second American on the current Crystal Palace roster.
