PSV rebuff Rangers…

PSV Eindhoven have turned down Rangers’ improved £6m bid for winger Couhaib Driouech. Burnley and Celta Vigo have joined the pursuit, with discussions still at an early stage.

Driouech is thought to lean slightly toward Celta Vigo after the Spanish side entered the race alongside Rangers.

Monaco have made 23-year-old Algerian Fares Ghedjemis their priority for the right wing and are preparing a new offer after Frosinone rejected £6m plus £1.7m in bonuses. Frosinone also rebuffed £8.6m proposals from both Celtic and Rangers.

Real Oviedo’s Haissem Hassan, 24, was left out of the squad to face Le Havre amid a £9m push from Celtic, with the player awaiting clearance to undergo a medical.

Hassan is addressing visa matters, with an agreement in place for a deal running to 2030. Oviedo are set to receive £6m, plus an additional £1.3m if Celtic reach the Champions League group stage.

Oviedo head coach Julian Calero says the club will not block Hassan’s move to Celtic.
