Following the match, Vrancken acknowledged that winger Alexandros Kyziridis is on the verge of a move to Turkey.
He said the club has accepted an offer for the 25-year-old Greek, describing it as a deal that suits both the team and the player.
Vrancken noted that Kyziridis arrived for free and will depart for a strong fee, adding that the focus now is on the players who remain.
This reflects the club’s current model: Hearts signed Kyziridis on a free from Slovakia and are set to earn a reportedly seven-figure sum.
In last season’s league campaign, he posted four goals and seven assists; only one goal and one assist came after the new year as his early-season form tailed off.
Hearts have already added Sabri Guendouz, Josh McPake and Calvin Miller, plus Rogers Mato on a permanent deal after his loan. Albanian impact sub Sabah Kerjota was already in the squad.
That leaves five candidates for two spots, with Guendouz and Miller also able to play as a No. 10 behind the striker.
Though Kyziridis became a fan favourite for his work rate, flair and an unforgettable strike against Falkirk, his replacement likely is already within the club.
