Manchester City has officially signed goalkeeper Gerónimo Rulli from Marseille. The club confirmed the move.
The 34-year-old Argentine international has joined the Etihad Stadium in a deal valued at up to €2 million, with €1.75 million as a fixed fee. He has signed a two-year contract.
Rulli, who previously spent time at City from 2016 to 2017, is set to replace James Trafford and will serve as the backup to first-choice goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Rulli previously played for Villarreal, where he was instrumental in the club’s victory over Manchester United in the dramatic Europa League final penalty shootout in 2023. His career has also included stints at Real Sociedad, Ajax, and Montpellier after starting out in South America.
