Arteta: Supporters Neednt…

Mikel Arteta has reassured Arsenal fans not to be concerned about his contract situation, emphasizing his happiness to remain with the club as he approaches the final year of his agreement.

Although it was anticipated that Arteta would have already secured an extension before his contract expires at the season’s end, all parties have opted to concentrate on the upcoming summer transfer window instead.

Having joined the Gunners in December 2019, the 44-year-old is viewed favorably by club owners Kroenke Sports Enterprises, especially following a season of significant progress that included winning their first Premier League title since 2004.

Before Sunday’s Community Shield match against Manchester City in Cardiff, Arteta stated: “The fans don’t need to worry about that because I want to be here. I am extremely happy and grateful to work with the people I do. When the time is right, we will address it. That’s it.”

“There is always another priority, I think! That’s how we’ve been handling it, and everyone feels comfortable that the contract timeline won’t be an issue.”

“My intention is to stay here, and I’m very happy. The club shares that sentiment, which is why we are approaching everything in a very organic manner.”
