Stamenic says he played a small role in the attacking midfielder’s move from Motherwell, speaking with both Just and Swansea chief executive Tom Gorringe while the transfer was being arranged.
With a grin, Stamenic remarked that he’d helped bring him in.
He praised Just as a gifted, top-quality player and a great person, adding that he’s delighted to have him on board and confident the club will soon see his value.

With another summer arrival, Ross Stewart, available for the first time this weekend, Swansea’s squad looks in good shape, even if there is still work to do in the transfer market.
After last season’s 11th-place finish, Stamenic says Swansea are aiming higher for 2026–27, though—echoing Matos—he maintains the immediate focus is always the next match.
He acknowledged that promotion is the clear target.
But day to day, he added, the emphasis is on keeping training standards high and executing when Saturday comes.
