Crystal Palace will play the entire 2026-27 Premier League season in a white home kit — their first such choice in nearly 20 years.
The Eagles are traditionally associated with blue and red, but white has long been part of the club’s identity. Over the past four decades it has often served as a secondary colour on home shirts and a primary shade on many away or alternate strips.
This year’s home design is white with a diagonal blue and red sash across the chest, staying true to Palace’s classic colours.
Palace say the look pays tribute to a shirt from 50 years ago. A sash appeared during their run to the FA Cup semi-finals in 1976, and the club adopted the style for the full campaign the following season.
The white kit with a red-and-blue sash then became a regular sight in the early 1980s.
The strip also reintroduces Palace’s former circular crest, worn between 1973 and 1987.
The new shirt made its competitive debut in a 2-0 defeat at Everton on the opening weekend.
Pierre Sage’s side will wear it at Selhurst Park for the first time on Friday night when they host Manchester City in their home opener.
The last time Palace used a white home shirt was the 2008-09 season, when they competed in the Championship.
