Sources: Man City in Talks…

Manchester City is currently in negotiations to acquire Cody Gakpo from Liverpool, according to sources from ESPN.

Discussions between the two clubs intensified on Saturday, with Liverpool placing Gakpo’s price tag at £85 million ($115 million), as reported by ESPN sources.

Manchester City has received positive indications that Gakpo is open to a transfer to the Etihad Stadium, prompting them to move forward with talks.

The Dutch forward, who played in Liverpool’s 2-2 draw against Nottingham Forest on Saturday, is among several attacking options being evaluated to strengthen Enzo Maresca’s squad, including Everton‘s Iliman Ndiaye and Pedro Neto from Chelsea.

Additionally, City has finalized a deal with Palmeiras for Brazilian winger Allan. Meanwhile, both Savio and Omar Marmoush recently transferred to Tottenham.

Sources indicate that City is poised for a hectic conclusion to the transfer window, with ongoing negotiations for Gakpo and plans for at least one late bid aimed at Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernández.
