Liverpool vs Nottingham…

  • Alisson: Beaten by Dan Ndoye for the opener but produced a superb stop to thwart Igor Jesus right before half-time and keep Liverpool in it. Clumsy challenge to concede the penalty converted by Gibbs-White. Rating: 5

  • Jeremie Frimpong: Shaky at the back but lively going forward, repeatedly getting into advanced areas. Helped create Wirtz’s ruled-out strike but had strayed offside. Needs more consistent final balls. Rating: 6

  • Jeremy Jacquet: Brilliant early recovery tackle to prevent Igor Jesus from scoring and looked strong overall, though a few lapses in concentration crept in. Rating: 6

  • Virgil van Dijk: Will be unhappy with how easily the defence was sliced open for Ndoye’s goal and with the soft penalty Forest earned. Rating: 6

  • Milos Kerkez: Off his game and loose in possession; withdrawn for Kostas Tsimikas on 71 minutes. Rating: 5

  • Dominik Szoboszlai: Dependable display and notably sharper defensively than he was against Newcastle. Rating: 6

  • Alexis Mac Allister: Restored to the XI and played a clever reverse pass to release Cody Gakpo early. Overpowered by Igor Jesus in the build-up to Ndoye’s strike. Rating: 6

  • Cody Gakpo: Deployed on the right and looked bright. Slipped a fine pass to Wirtz and later fashioned a good opening for Victor Munoz. Switched off defensively for Forest’s first, but superbly created Alexander Isak’s equaliser. Rating: 7

  • Florian Wirtz: A constant menace and unfortunate not to score—one tidy finish was chalked off for Frimpong’s offside and Sels tipped over his strong header. Teed up Munoz’s goal. Rating: 7

  • Victor Munoz: First Liverpool start on his favoured left. Direct and positive, had a penalty appeal waved away, and should have worked Sels with a first-half effort he put wide. Smashed in a stunning leveller in front of the Kop to earn a point. Rating: 7

  • Alexander Isak: Only six touches before the break and no shots, but made amends by netting the first equaliser on the hour with his ninth touch—one that should boost his confidence. Rating: 6
