Barcelona and Spain forward Salma Paralluelo has been diagnosed with an injury to the medial collateral ligament (MCL) in her left knee, as confirmed by the Spanish football federation on Saturday.
The 21-year-old athlete was substituted during Spain’s Nations League semifinal first leg against Sweden on Friday and has since returned to Barcelona to begin her rehabilitation process.
