Spooky Stars: Napoli and…

As the nights grow longer and shadows deepen, the arrival of spooky season brings the world of football into the thrilling embrace of Halloween once more.

This year, many soccer stars are joining the festive spirit, filling social media with vibrant images of players and their families going above and beyond in their celebrations.

With matches piling up, some clubs decided to kick off their Halloween festivities a bit early this year. Notably, several Real Madrid players hosted a Halloween party two days ahead of October 31st.

Having just triumphed over Barcelona in the Clásico, members of the Los Blancos‘ Brazilian squad gathered for a night of fright, sporting a variety of spooky costumes for the celebration.

Vinícius Júnior‘s girlfriend, Virginia Fonseca, embraced her inner Cruella de Vil. However, Vinícius took a different route, choosing to dress as a chaotic clown instead of following the “101 Dalmatians” theme.

Endrick and his wife, Gabriely Miranda, stunned in matching Chucky doll costumes, accessorizing with an array of blood-soaked props for the festivities.

Éder Militão, along with his wife Taina and family, donned costumes inspired by the Addams Family and even created a charming tribute video, complete with the show’s iconic theme tune and signature finger snapping.

The meaning behind Rodrygo‘s costume was a bit elusive, but it featured a leopard-print suit paired with a blood-smeared T-shirt.

NAPOLI

Serie A champions Napoli also celebrated on the Wednesday after their 1-0 victory against Lecce, showcasing their new limited-edition Halloween kit featuring a glow-in-the-dark badge!

The Partenopei kept the spooky vibe alive by gathering in Naples on Wednesday night. Scott McTominay and his partner Cam Reading embraced the theme, with McTominay sporting a striking half-flesh, half-skull face paint (though given his new Naples nickname, dressing as The Terminator might have been more fitting).

McTominay also cheekily commented on Rasmus Højlund‘s lackluster costume effort.

The 22-year-old striker, currently on loan from Manchester United, opted for a sweater vest with chinos and loafers, pairing it with white socks, which McTominay couldn’t help but tease.

Representing the Addams Family once again, Leonardo Spinazzola played the role of Gomez, while teammate Matteo Politano filled in as Pugsley.

Additionally, Alex Meret chose to go as Hagrid, while Mathías Olivera embraced his inner Captain Jack Sparrow, among a variety of other costumes inspired by Harry Potter, Batman, and “Breaking Bad.”
