AC Milan complete £60m…

AC Milan have completed the signing of Paris Saint-Germain striker Gonçalo Ramos in a deal believed to be a club-record, worth around £60m.

The 25-year-old Portugal international has agreed a contract through 2031 after scoring 45 goals across three seasons with the French champions.

Italian media report the fee exceeds €70m (£60.2m), making Ramos the first signing since Ruben Amorim took charge.

Amorim signed a two-year deal last month to replace Massimiliano Allegri, who was dismissed after a poor end to the campaign saw Milan miss out on Champions League qualification.

Milan’s previous record purchase was winger Rafael Leão, who joined from Lille for about £42m in 2019.

PSG, meanwhile, are strongly linked with RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande, also a target for Liverpool.

Chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi, sporting adviser Luis Campos and manager Luis Enrique are steering PSG’s summer strategy, aiming for one or two marquee additions to a squad that retained both the Champions League and Ligue 1 titles last season.

Further departures are expected, with midfielder Lee Kang-in and forward Randal Kolo Muani among those who could leave this summer.
