Manchester City has officially signed Allan Elias from Palmeiras, according to an announcement from the club.
The Brazilian winger will be joining the Etihad Stadium in a deal worth an initial £32 million ($43 million), with an additional £2 million in potential add-ons, pending international clearances. The 22-year-old has committed to a five-year contract, marking him as City’s sixth acquisition this summer.

Allan may not be the last new face to arrive before Tuesday’s transfer deadline.
Sources have indicated to ESPN that City is in discussions regarding a transfer for Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo. Liverpool values the Dutch player at approximately £85 million and is keen to secure a replacement before agreeing to any deal.

City is also anticipated to make at least one offer for Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernández prior to the deadline. The Argentinian was omitted from Chelsea’s squad for their recent 4-3 victory over Brighton at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
