Ruben Amorim has called for caution despite leading Manchester United to a third consecutive victory, propelling them to fourth place in the Premier League standings.
On Saturday, United triumphed 4-2 over Brighton at Old Trafford, adding to their earlier wins against Sunderland and Liverpool.
This run of form has significantly shifted the team’s atmosphere since their 3-1 loss to Brentford at the end of September.
Amorim has cautioned his squad that their promising form could dissipate rapidly if they fail to maintain their focus ahead of Saturday’s match against Nottingham Forest.
“You can sense that the team feels different,” Amorim stated.
“Our ability to respond has changed, and we now believe we can overcome challenges, which aids us in winning these types of matches when we’re riding high.
“Just three weeks ago, the situation was different, and it could very well change again in the weeks to come.
“We should celebrate, but we must remain urgent and ready in our next training sessions.”

Although Brighton mounted a comeback to narrow the score to 3-2, Bryan Mbeumo netted his second goal in stoppage time. Despite the tense finale, Amorim expressed greater satisfaction with the team’s performance against Brighton compared to their 2-1 win over Liverpool at Anfield.
“I believe it was a more rounded display,” he commented.
“Opinions may differ on the Liverpool match, but they certainly didn’t deserve to lose that game. While we earned the victory, it wasn’t justified for them to lose. Today, we showcased a more comprehensive performance.
“We maintained possession, created opportunities, defended effectively at both high and low lines. A complete performance enhances my confidence as a manager. I value today’s performance more than last weekend’s match.”
