Arsenal has unveiled their new third kit for the 2026-27 season, and you might find it strikingly familiar—perhaps even too familiar.
The 2026-27 jersey closely mirrors the Gunners’ pale yellow away kit from the 2021-22 season, with only some minor adjustments. Notable changes include a slight rearrangement of the red and navy band around the collar and the addition of wider Adidas stripes on the shoulders.

Like its predecessor, the new shirt features a warm hue, said to be inspired by the golden light that washes over North London on summer evenings.
Contrasting accents are provided by the trim, while Arsenal’s iconic lightning graphic—an homage to their classic away kits from the mid-1990s—is once again integrated into the fabric.
The simplified cannon crest continues to grace the chest, and all sponsor logos are applied in the same navy shade as the trim. The lightning pattern is also featured on the accompanying navy shorts.
While we’re not implying that the defending Premier League champions and Women’s Super League runners-up are short on creative ideas for new kits, it would be refreshing to see them look beyond their 1990s lightning bolts and bruised bananas for inspiration in future designs.
