Barcelona have signed Brazil forward Kerolin from Women’s Super League champions Manchester City on a deal through 2030.
The 26-year-old was pivotal in Andree Jeglertz’s side ending a 10-year wait for the WSL title last season and also helped them win the Women’s FA Cup.
Kerolin produced nine goals and five assists in 15 league matches, including a standout hat-trick against Chelsea in February.
Reports value the transfer at around £1.3m, a record fee for a Brazilian women’s player.
She joined City from North Carolina Courage in January 2025 and was under contract until 2028.
Internationally, Kerolin has 15 goals in 62 caps for Brazil and is expected to be a prominent face of the World Cup in her home country next year.
European champions Barcelona have seen several major departures this summer, including two-time Ballon d’Or winner Alexia Putellas to London City Lionesses.
Spain defender Mapi León has also moved to London City Lionesses, while talented forward Salma Paralluelo has joined Lyon.
Kerolin is viewed as Paralluelo’s replacement, while City have bolstered their attack with England’s Beth Mead.
