Enzo Fernández scored a crucial header in the first half, leading Chelsea to a 1-0 victory against Leeds United at Wembley, securing their place in the FA Cup final just four days after they dismissed head coach Liam Rosenior.
Despite recent struggles and off-field challenges, Chelsea bounced back with an improved performance under interim manager Calum McFarlane, while Leeds fell below their recent standards, making Fernández’s goal all the more significant.
Chelsea is set to return to Wembley on May 16 to compete against Manchester City in the final, their first since 2022 when they lost to Liverpool in a penalty shootout.
