Jérémy Doku has sent a message to Arsenal, stating that Manchester City is still in the title race despite their recent draw with Everton.
City managed a 3-3 draw at Hill Dickinson Stadium on Monday, putting Arsenal in a prime position to claim the Premier League title for the first time in over 20 years. Doku scored twice, including a crucial late equalizer that secured a point for his team.
Arsenal currently holds a five-point lead at the top, but Doku remains optimistic that the title race is far from over.
“It hurts, obviously it hurts,” Doku remarked. “We understand the importance of winning such matches. We didn’t give up, and we won’t give up. There are still games left, and we’ll fight until the end, and ultimately, we’ll see where the points fall.”
“We are disappointed, but it’s not over; we are not going to give up.”
For City to overturn Arsenal’s lead, they must navigate a challenging fixture schedule in the closing weeks of the season.
Pep Guardiola’s side will face Brentford at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, kicking off a grueling stretch of five matches in 16 days, culminating in the FA Cup final against Chelsea on May 16.

“We have a busy schedule with many games ahead of us, and we’re ready to embrace it,” said the Belgium international. “We are still competing in two tournaments, and we have a final to prepare for.”
“It’s essential that we recover well. We’ve all experienced this situation before and are accustomed to playing every three days. The key is to recover both mentally and physically.”
“There are tough matches ahead, but we’re prepared and excited for the challenge.”
