Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atlético Madrid, and Athletic are currently competing in the Spanish Supercopa in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Other matchups include Burgos hosting Valencia, Real Betis facing Elche, Real Sociedad taking on Osasuna, and Alavés clashing with Rayo Vallecano.

In a thrilling Copa del Rey final last May, Barça edged out Madrid 3-2 after extra time, completing a domestic treble. Barcelona holds the record for the most Copa del Rey wins, with 32 titles, while Athletic Club has won 24 times and Real Madrid 20 times.

Athletic Club won the Copa del Rey in 2024, breaking a 40-year drought, while Madrid secured the title a year before that.

In last month’s round of 32, Barça defeated Guadalajara 2-0, and Madrid required a double from Kylian Mbappé (who is currently sidelined due to a knee injury) to triumph over Talavera 3-2.

The finalists of the Supercopa, with Barça facing Athletic and Real matching up against Atlético in the semifinals on Wednesday and Thursday, will play their Copa ties shortly after returning from Saudi Arabia, where the Supercopa final will take place on Sunday night.
