Crystal Palace, newly promoted to the Women’s Super League, have secured Tottenham defender Molly Bartrip for an undisclosed sum.
The 30-year-old has signed a three-year deal and will link up again with former Spurs captain Bethany England as one of Palace’s summer additions.
Bartrip spent five seasons at Tottenham, surpassing 100 appearances, and was appointed vice-captain in 2023.
She featured in every match of the 2024–25 campaign and, on the back of that form, agreed a new three-year extension.
The defender, a former England youth international, was also part of the Spurs squad that reached the Women’s FA Cup final for the first time in 2024.
It has been a strong window so far for Palace, who returned to the WSL after finishing second in the second tier last season.
Bartrip and England add extensive WSL experience, and the club have also signed last season’s WSL 2 top scorer Lexi Lloyd-Smith.
