Endrick Considering…

Sources have informed ESPN that Endrick, the teenage forward, is now considering a departure from Real Madrid in January, as his representatives explore potential loan options.

The 19-year-old Brazil international has yet to make an appearance in LaLiga this season, despite having recovered from an injury that sidelined him since May.

Endrick’s frustration reached a tipping point during Sunday’s LaLiga match against Getafe, where he was seen warming up on the sidelines but became visibly upset when informed he would not be coming on, leading to him kicking a water bottle onto the field—a source described this incident as “the last straw.”

In July, ESPN reported that Madrid was open to a loan for Endrick to facilitate his development, given his lack of first-team opportunities, although the forward initially preferred to stay at the Bernabéu.

Real Madrid had finalized a deal to acquire Endrick from Palmeiras in 2022, but the transfer wasn’t officially completed until July 2024, when he turned 18, signing a six-year contract.

ESPN indicated that the total value of the deal was €72 million ($83.6 million), marking it as the largest transfer in Brazilian football history.

During his debut season in 2024-25, Endrick logged just 354 minutes in LaLiga, netting one goal, but he did score five times in the Copa del Rey.

Endrick suffered a hamstring injury in May, and following a setback over the summer, he missed the Club World Cup, where fellow young Madrid forward Gonzalo García excelled in his absence.

ESPN reported recently that several European clubs, including Marseille, are closely monitoring Endrick with an eye toward a potential January transfer.

In Sunday’s match at the Coliseum, Endrick warmed up during the second half, but coach Xabi Alonso chose to bring on García and Brahim Díaz instead.
