During a match between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Newcastle United in the Premier League on January 18, a young fan named Rory found himself in a scenario that could have made Joey Tribbiani furious.
As the match ended in a lackluster 0-0 draw, Rory’s dad cheekily reached over and snatched one of Rory’s chicken nuggets.
Unlike Matt LeBlanc’s character, Rory was visibly upset and began to cry.
You may remember the footage of this young supporter from our last game at Molineux…

Fortunately for Rory, the club stepped in to make amends. The young fan and his dad returned to Molineux Stadium for a match against Bournemouth, where they were greeted by the team’s mascot, who came bearing a new box of chicken nuggets.
“Wolfie does not take lightly to chicken thieves,” the stadium announcer quipped as the mascot approached Rory’s seat.
“He’s brought a fresh batch of chicken nuggets,” the announcer added. “And this time, Dad, you’re not allowed to touch them, alright?”
Perhaps that will serve as a lesson: Rory isn’t one to share his food!
