Grealish Undergoes Season

Evertson forward Everton, Jack Grealish, has announced that his season has come to a premature end, following surgery for a foot injury he suffered in January.

Since joining on a season-long loan from Manchester City last summer, Grealish has made a significant impact on Merseyside, but his tenure at Hill Dickinson is set to conclude on a disappointing note.

The 30-year-old forward has contributed two goals and six assists in the Premier League this season, establishing himself as a key player for David Moyes’ squad. However, Moyes had previously expressed concerns regarding the seriousness of Grealish’s injury, which have now been validated.

“I didn’t want the season to end this way, but that’s football—gutted,” Grealish shared on social media.

“The surgery is done, and now my focus is on getting back to fitness. I’m determined to return fitter, stronger, and better than before.

“The support I’ve received from this incredible club has meant everything to me. The staff, my teammates, and especially the fans have been amazing, and I take great pride in representing this club.

Grealish’s stress fracture impacts his World Cup aspirations, a significant setback for Everton

“I will be cheering for the lads from afar and will do everything I can to return as quickly as possible. Thank you again for all the love; it means so much to me.”

Grealish’s surgery also eliminates any chance of his inclusion in Thomas Tuchel’s national squad for the World Cup taking place this summer in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
