Harry Kane is in discussions regarding a new contract with Bayern Munich, as reported by sources in Germany.
His existing contract is set to expire in the summer of 2027, and the Bundesliga champions are looking to extend it until 2028 or 2029.
“We are in talks with Harry,” Bayern sporting director Max Eberl stated to Sky Germany on Monday.
Since joining Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023 for approximately £100 million ($136 million), Kane has made a significant impact.
The 32-year-old forward has netted 119 goals in 126 appearances, recently setting a record as the fastest player to achieve 100 goal contributions in Bundesliga history.
Kane is England’s all-time leading scorer with 78 goals in 112 international matches, and his Premier League tally of 213 goals for Spurs places him 47 goals behind Alan Shearer, the league’s all-time top scorer.
