Greece winger Alexandros Kyziridis has left Heart of Midlothian to join Turkish club Corum in a deal believed to be worth around £1.7m. The 25-year-old, who earned his first senior cap this year, arrived at Tynecastle on a free transfer last summer from Slovak side Zemplín Michalovce.
Kyziridis contributed six goals and 11 assists in 45 appearances for Hearts. Corum, newly promoted to the Super Lig for the first time, have signed him on a three-year contract with an option for a further 12 months.
After Sunday’s 4-0 win over Dundee United, Hearts head coach Wouter Vrancken said the move is good business for both the club and the player, noting that Kyziridis joined for nothing and leaves for a strong fee, and that the team will now focus on those who remain.
