Defending champions Newcastle United are set to clash with Manchester City in the semifinals of the Carabao Cup.
Eddie Howe’s team will host the first leg against the eight-time League Cup champions at St James’ Park.
Meanwhile, five-time winners Chelsea will face either Arsenal or Crystal Palace in the other semifinal, with the first match taking place at Stamford Bridge.
Arsenal and Crystal Palace are set to meet at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday for the fourth quarterfinal, a match that was rescheduled due to Crystal Palace’s involvement in the Conference League this week.
The first legs of the semifinals are scheduled for the week commencing January 12, with the second legs to be held three weeks later.
