One of the most surprising encounters of summer 2026? David Beckham and Michael Jordan meeting up in Ibiza, Spain.
The two sports legends were joined by their wives, and Beckham’s son Romeo along with his girlfriend, for a lunch meetup where they were seen sharing an embrace.
What they discussed is anyone’s guess, but they have more in common than just being icons in their respective fields. Both have taken on ownership roles after their playing careers: Jordan holds a minority stake in the Charlotte Hornets and is a co-owner of NASCAR’s 23XI Racing, while Beckham has investments in Inter Miami and Salford City FC.
Beckham has previously expressed his admiration for Jordan, reminiscing about idolizing him during his own playing days.
“Even though he was at a table with Madonna and a few others, I couldn’t take my eyes off him,” Beckham recalled about a past restaurant encounter. “Victoria nudged my leg and said, ‘stop embarrassing me.’”
